We have hit a really fun age with our kids. My youngest turned four last week, which brings all of the kids into what feels like FULL KID ZONE. They are all able to walk, talk, dress, and feed themselves. I am no longer changing diapers or scheduling around nap time. And although I loved those younger years of mothering, this chapter already feels like it will be amazing. One thing that has been really hilarious lately are the jokes.
The two older boys are very into comedy and telling jokes as often as possible. They both have joke books with pages of all kinds of silliness, and they we sit around the table and answer to “knock, knock” all day long. I have been enjoying supporting their comedy shows by finding jokes of my own to share and, of course, by laughing along as they entertain the family. As I prepare for our upcoming family trip for the holidays, I am excited to partner with one of our very favorite on-the-go snacks, Cuties. My kids are all big fans, and I love how even the youngest can grab, peel, and eat hers all by herself because of the soft skin and sweet, seedless fruit. We were all thrilled to see them back in stores again this month for Cuties season, during which you can always find a bowl full on my counter! It has been fun to see so many amazing snack, recipe, and craft ideas using Cuties through the #100DaysofSunshine campaign that is shared through Instagram.
To add my idea to #100DaysofSunshine, I thought it would be really fun to add a bunch of silly fruit jokes to our Cuties so that when we’re driving, flying, and driving again during our trek cross-country to Grandma’s house this Christmas, the kids will have something to laugh about.
I looked up some funny fruit jokes (who knew there were so many?!) and formatted 15 onto a half-sheet so they can be easily printed onto sticker paper, cut out and stuck onto each little Cutie. They will be so perfect for our big upcoming trip this weekend, and also would be really fun for lunchboxes, class parties, birthday parties, or any other occasion where you want to give a sweet, healthy treat with a little something extra to make them smile.
Created in partnership with Cuties.
