After seeing my pillow rampage a couple weeks ago, I had a friend email me about making a couple pillows to top her two little boys’ beds. Initial pillows. How cute! How could I refuse?
She sent me a link to her initial pillow inspiration, and a link to the new bedding she just got for their room.
We emailed back and forth about colors for piping, and which typeface to use.
And I snuck a little more pillow-making into my life. Turns out I like to make pillows! I am also in l. o. v. e. with these initial pillows. You can bet I will be cranking one out for Milo very soon.
Cross pillows off the list.
Now I’m down to: an adult pinafore (actually just finished this one-it’s random, but perfect!), a vampire bride dress repurpose, an Olivia the Pig costume, two (yep, two) Orphan Annie dresses (picked those up last week. Turns out she’s a popular one!) Mister Milo’s monkey costume, and a punk rock birthday gown, all before Halloween. Oh, and then I guess I’ll make my bridesmaid dress for my sister’s wedding…after letter pressing her invitations.
I am a total glutton for project punishment. And I love it.
