This week my adventures were doubled! Monday I joined the Missy, Matt and Emily on a trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore Harbor. The aquarium is phenomenal. The 4D Planet Earth was too!
Did you know Jelly Fish are pretty much taking over the earth’s oceans? They are invasive, but beautiful.
The exhibits were all well designed. I loved seeing both above and below the waterline. Underwater life is fascinating…Do you see the size of that fish?
These two were happy to be out of school for a couple days. Milo and I were lucky to be able to spend one with them!
The part of the city I saw was beautifully designed and well maintained.I had never thought too much about Baltimore. In fact, last week at the American History Museum I learned (probably not for the first time) that Baltimore Harbor is where THE American flag streamed gallantly to inspire THE song.
The Matisse Cut-Outs are huge, colorful and open only part of the day…lucky us to be there at the right time:)
Jackson Pollock. Need I say more?
Hmmm. Love Andy Warhol.
This last one is darling enough to find in print for Milo’s room. Even though I’m not a Mickey person. I could be a vintage Mickey person.
