This week on the podcast, I explored the idea of becoming a little more conscious of a consumer and I’m excited to share this collected list of conscious companies.
I have already done a lot of work in the last few years around only shopping with intention when I actually need something, and thought it was time that I take things a step further. I want to begin shopping more often from companies whose values reflect purpose and intention beyond the bottom line. If I can do a little more good for others and the environment when I spend my money, it makes sense for me to try.
Getting Started with Conscious Companies
To get started, I asked my friends on Instagram what some of their favorite eco and globally impactful brands are. I didn’t specify a specific purpose or cause (like organic and sustainably sourced, or fair-trade, or manufactured with living wages, etc.) because there are so many different ways for companies to have a greater purpose beyond just making money–and this list is a reflection of many different types of conscious companies.
I was blown away as I went through these different companies and checked out their websites how INCREDIBLY ACCESSIBLE AND AVAILABLE these goods are! If you are already shopping online (like most of the world) these websites offer an easy alternative to more generic and widely-consumed brands. I love the idea of using this master list of conscious companies as my starting point when I need something new. I hope you find some favorites that will help you take a step or two towards more conscious consumerism, too!
I’ve divided them by type, to make things a little easier!

Pela Case Phones Cases

I hope you have discovered some new favorite conscious companies to support! If you have any to add, make sure to leave them in the comment section and I will update this list as time goes by!
