For some reason, I started calling Milo “monster” recently. He’s not a monster. In fact, I’m continually surprised by the tolerance and patience that he shows, even at such a young age. He is laughing most of the time and happy almost the rest of it! It’s fun to see so much of his dad in his little personality.
On another note, I’ve begun a new project. It’s called Project Repurpose the Wardrobe;) All three of us have some clothes that are old, holey, stained or otherwise unwearable, but with great material or pattern. So rather than “fling” I am going to attempt to “fix.” I began with a few of Milo’s shirts (which are actually all his cousin Robbie’s shirts.) My sister kept these darling clothes in fantastic condition, and I’m amazed by how few of the hand-me-downs have needed TLC. This adorable striped tee was one of them. It had a nickle-sized stain on the front that BIZ, Oxyclean and bleach failed to remove, so I decided to cover it on up…with a little monster!! Fitting, eh? More to come on this project.
And the last note, I’m dying over this new squinty eyed, toothy smile. How adorable can one kid be? Seriously.
