Hi there! How was your weekend? We had a fun, busy one. Thanks to our Advent calendar activities, we cut out snowflakes to hang in the window, and stuffed a bag full of items to give away. Milo and I decorated the tree on Friday (and he’s been un-decorating it daily since…) and then on Sunday we began our Advent Sunday celebration with some friends, warm food, Christmas songs and a beautiful Christmas story.
I’ve also been busy continuing to work on this new blog, and of course, doing some projects. Thursday night I spent a few hours screen printing a whole pile of new Project Baby Tees, then Friday I packaged them and Saturday sent off a few that were pre-ordered. This time I was able to order the same American Apparel tee that I used on my own Project Baby, and screen printed the numbers in black. So, these new tees are just like the original, only better (because I didn’t hand cut the numbers, and you can cross them off with the included fabric pen, rather than with a sponge brush:)
Because they have been so popular, it made sense to set them up in a shop to streamline the ordering process. So, for all of you who have been waiting to order, now is the time. And perfect with the upcoming Holidays! Maybe there’s a cute pregnant gal on your list who would love keeping track of her baby bump with one of these.
I’m also offering the service of turning that crossed-off tee into a newborn romper, like I did mine for baby Eliot. I’m already excited to get a shirt in my mailbox in February and send the tiny outfit back to the new mom.
So, that little “SHOP” button in the top right of my blog now works. Click there to be led to my new One Little Minute shop where you can add Project Baby shirts right to your cart and check out. Easy Peasy.
I also included in the shop three of the items that I get requests for over and over:
The Big Bow Dress (adorable here in Christmas Red!)
The Bow Tie (this one ordered to match his sister’s Bow Dress:)
And, of course, Olivia the Pig. I can’t forget her! (This costume is so drilled into my muscle memory I think I can make it in my sleep.)
The Project Baby shirts are the only thing I will actually stock ahead. All other orders are still going to be custom made-to-order. The pricing, however, is standard for these three, and so the items can be put into your cart, paid for, and then you can leave additional instructions about sizing/color, etc. in the comments section. Or, just shoot me an email and we can go from there.
In addition to the PB tee, bow dress, bow tie, and Olivia, I am excited to continue taking custom orders… for almost anything. I’ve done everything from costumes to pillows to ballet shoe bags to boppy covers to a wedding dress. You can check out all of my custom projects here. If you can think it, I can probably figure out a way to make it.
That said, I am first a full-time mom, and custom orders take time, so please expect a few weeks from ordering to delivery. I’ll be as quick as possible while maintaining sanity:)
I am also pretty booked with Christmas orders/ hand-made gifts to give my family/a dress to wear to Dave’s firm Christmas party (tomorrow!) so start thinking into 2012.
That’s about it. Thank’s for reading (and ordering) and being so supportive of my projects. xoxo
