Horray for Friday! Especially THIS Friday, which marks the LAST Friday of Dave’s career as a Law Student. On to being a BAR student, and then…duh duh da duh, A Lawyer! Whoo hoo! To celebrate, we’re trying out a new restaurant that just opened around the corner in one of those, well, locations that just isn’t suited for restaurants. We figure we’d better go fast before it (inevitably) goes out of business and turns once again, into a weird building with a too-large parking lot in front. Every time we drive by, Dave says “oh, is that place open now?” sort of chuckling at the huge NOW OPEN sign that hangs on the front, next to the empty lot. I’ll let you know how it it:)
Other random thoughts today:
I’m very excited to makes some of these as name places for our Easter Dinner with friends. And even more excited that I bought these darling flower cupcake liners on a whim that will be perfect for them!!
We’re in love with this simple pepperoni, olive, artichoke heart pizza right now. Ate it last night and I sort of want it again right now. Crust recipe here, and I add some oregano, red pepper flakes and garlic to the dough. Then a thin layer of marinara sauce, a layer of pepperoni, a thin layer of shredded mozzarella cheese, and some whole black olives and quartered artichoke hearts to top it off. 10 minutes at 500 and you’ll be soo happy.
Yeah, um…on that delicious note. Let’s be serious about arms. I understand that from the chest down Eliot has taken full control of my body…but really…my arms, too? I’ve decided to launch a full attack against the flab accumulated around my once bulging biceps (teeheehee). Okay, I’m actually just adding a five-minute arm workout to my daily exercise regimen. But, to increase motivation, I asked Dave to take before, every-two-weeks, and after shots of my upper extremities. We’ll see how it goes.
Well folks, that’s all for now. I hope you enjoy a peaceful and wonderful weekend. I can’t wait for all the fun I’ve got planned in the next two days. I’ll tell you all about it on the flip side!
