Pro: No more beach ball under my shirt
Con: It has been replaced with an adult-sized jellyfish
Pro: The hot water bottle for the bathroom (seriously, now I want a bidet!)
Con: Needing 10 minutes and an entire work-station of treatments (including the water bottle) to go to the bathroom.
Pro: My maternity clothes are all too big
Con: My regular clothes are all too small
Pro: Milo’s vocabulary is expanding with new baby stuff going on
Con: It now includes phrases like “boob juice” (which we’re trying to convert to “mama’s milk”)
Pro: Heartburn is gone
Con: So is the excuse to eat whatever I want
Pro: Rugging (run/jogging) feels surprisingly familiar
Con: 1 mile takes 25 minutes
Pro of the Con: I can’t possibly get slower, so improvement is inevitable
Pro: I can sleep on my belly
Con: I don’t get very much opportunity
Pro: I can hold my newborn all day long
Con: I still only have two hands and nothing else gets done
Pro: My ankles have reappeared
Con: Every laundry load another cotton nursing pad seems to disappear
Pro: We have been spoiled with fantastic meals from friends
Con: Soon I will have to cook for myself again
Pro: I can’t swim, and therefore won’t don a swimsuit, for 3 more weeks

Pro: Eliot is absolutely wonderful, and I love him more outside than inside
