About six weeks ago, a dear old friend sent me a photo of the most adorable dress I had ever seen. Originally made by LIHO (be still my heart those boy clothes!) she spotted it on Zulily, where it was sold out from about the second it appeared. No wonder, right?
She hoped I could help her re-create it, with cap-sleeves, in girls sizes 5-7 for her daughters and nieces.
It took some experimenting with my pattern-making, but I figured out the tricky bow, and love the result.
And after a couple weeks work, one dress turned into four. They chose the perfect colors, right? I sort of want to leave them hanging on my wall as Easter decor:)
Now onto the matching ties for their boys and husbands.
And some seersucker bow ties.
And maybe figuring out outfits for this year’s Easter Photos… (Halley, want to take a trip down to DC to shoot us again?)
I love the Spring!
