The only reason that I have stayed up past 8pm since Christmas break is to see the red carpet fashion show. Whoopie should be whooped, Miley looked a little like Flower Petal Barbie, and I was nervous that SJP was going to pop out… I loved Angelina’s earrings, Tanya Black’s awesome-and awesomely modest dress, and…my overall favorite? This simple number:
Oh to have a waistline again…sigh.
We cozied up at the Gardner’s house while the snow fell and the wind sealed it to everything. When we finally headed home the car looked like it had been applied with freezing spray flocking…
…and the poor Dave had to shovel the driveway (it was close to 1am) just to park in the garage. Gotta love New England!
It was worth it to see the Oscars:)
