Oh, to be 26 weeks pregnant. I thought I had such a large and protruding belly. I’m glad that I had Dave begin the Baby Bump Board back then.
After tracing my silhouette and measuring out those 4o cm, I thought for sure I’d never reach that red line-or if I did I would begin to fall over forward.
Not so my friends! Last week (36 weeks) I hit the bottom of the line! I think I estimated those 40 cm a little higher than reality. I am measuring exactly with my weeks-36 weeks, 36 cm. Milo is a growing boy, and I’m not yet tipping over!
My belly does not look like I thought it might…
Though it is pretty much just sticking out there! Got to love it!
This is for sure my favorite part of pregnancy! I love love having a tight little belly and Milo’s bum up in my ribs all the time. He used to be just wiggles and kicks, but now I feel elbows and knees. It’s awesome! I sleep well, eat well (pre-medicated with Zantac, of course), and have more energy than the first 2 tri’s. If I could pick up pregnancy at month 8 and do this part the whole time, I’d do it! Just when I’m getting the hang of things it’s almost over…ain’t that life? On to a new adventure soon!
