Nothing like a warm blueberry muffin in the morning. I had a favorite recipe (from the Favorites Cookbook!) but after reading about great muffins on this website, I decided to give a new blueberry muffin a whirl. They did not disappoint.
The batter ended up thick and heavy. Suspended my huge, fresh (then frozen) blueberries perfectly. That’s always the problem with blueberry muffins…the sinking berries!
At the beginning of my marriage, Dave was working at Franklin Covey Company, and we attended the “8 Habits of a Highly Effective Marriage” class (for free). Along with coming up with a fantastic mission statement and family creed, we also did some free association brainstorming…We basically wrote down all of the words that came to mind about marriage on a page for one minute, then shared and compared our thoughts. One of the first things on my page was “Muffins.” Hmmm.
