These two cousins are killing me! They are so cute hanging out together. Jane likes to crawl over to Milo and touch his face or climb up and over his back. He is pretty fascinated with her being able to move all around. I think he’s getting some good crawling tips!
Okay, does anyone else in the world have a sister as generous as mine? When she found out I was having a boy, she called me and told me she was so excited that Milo would be able to borrow all of Robbie’s little clothes! A few weeks later a giant cardboard box was delivered to my doorstep with ALL of Robbies 0-12 mo clothes, socks, hats, and blankets. Chelsea doesn’t exactly pinch pennies on her children’s attire, either, so it has been awesome to have such great clothes for Milo.
When I got ready for this trip she called to remind me that I could bring back the clothes he has grown out of (0-9 mo) and she would send me home with the next years worth of darling duds!! This morning we packed two full storage boxes of 12-24 mo clothes into my second suitcase. Seriously the nicest person ever.
I pay her back in organization skills:) She has a little list of “projects” for me to help her with while I visit. Most involve some serious de-junking and organization. Today we worked on the cupboards under the bathroom sinks. One of the things we went through was make-up…so we thought we’d experiment with some of the colors she had never used…
…some were pretty, some more useful for Halloween. We did get everything organized, though.
Cutest Robbie. Today he found a rock outside that he could break into pieces. So, of course he called his friend Cole and left a message that said, “Cole, I’m so strong I can break a rock into pieces. Okay, I love you so much, bye.”
Chelsea and Rob took Milo and I for an evening at the San Antonio River Walk tonight. We had to stop in at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a decadent Snickers caramel apple. Mmmmm.
The River Walk is beautiful. It is this old flood canal that has stone paths along both sides with little bridges spanning the canal every block or so. The best part is that it is below ground level, so the busy streets and cars aren’t ever in view.We have been asked if we are twins twice since I’ve been here… I guess no one can see those 3 years, 3 inches and 30 pounds;)Cute snugly Milo was up a little past his bedtime, but he enjoyed the meander along the river.
