Dave’s two cakes

Law School has begun…well, orientation at least. Dave and the other 163 entering JD students have spent this week being fed, introduced, and reassured that they’re “going to be okay” in Law School. So far, he is loving it. He is so excited to get started, I know he’s going to do well. He’s even excited about the hours and hours of reading that awaits!

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a cake for anything but a birthday…so I thought this little “Welcome Class of 2011” at the opening social was photoworthy.Turns out cake is a big thing here…and someone thought the “Welcome Class of 2011” was a little too vague, so at the closing party we saw this “Welcome to Franklin Pierce Law Center Class of 2011” cake.
We feel welcomed! Monday the real grind begins- and Dave is ready!
