Look what the Mail Lady dragged in! Literally, this HUGE but light-as-a-feather box. I told her it was an airplane for my son she didn’t believe me…so, I opened it right there in the stairway and we dug through the millions of packing peanuts to pull out this beauty.
Then when I got inside with it I re-packed all of the peanuts, set up a light blue sheet to serve as the pseudo sky, set tipped the box over to let a few peanuts out, then set the plane and Milo down to take this photo. Oh, what I won’t do for a photo.
After seeing THIS post about Milo’s wings, Melanie said she couldn’t resist sending him this plane that she had found for a steal (maybe because it was missing a prop? How simple is that to fix!!). I whipped together a propeller out of a wire dry-cleaning hanger, wired it on and we’re ready to go! Milo loves it and barely takes his eyes off of it.
And now I don’t know how in the world I ever thought his room was complete without it!!
I think he’s looking out that window, dreaming of flying…
