Which is probably why I grew up always getting a bathing suit in my Easter basket! It’s a tradition I have loved, and we continue to enjoy thanks to my mom-who still comes through with suits for all. I mean, we all need bathing suits, right? Thanks Mamo! Dave and I stuck with the summer theme, choosing flip-flops, sun hats, boat shoes and a plush beach robe (that I fell in love with and couldn’t resist) and Grandma and Grandpa Anderson were inspired to join in, sending Milo the (hands down) cutest beach towel I have ever seen. So, our family easter basket was filled with all things summer-and Milo looks ready for some fun in the sun!
The day was filled with celebration, and we had a great time eating (eibleskievers)
visiting friends and eating (home made donuts)
*Thanks for taking the family pic Brooke- I swiped it from your blog!!
visiting different friends and eating some more (Cafe Complet)
*What fun and what a feat Melanie! You’re a super mom!!
It was a busy, festive day, filled with good friends (which take the place of family out here for us sometimes!) and food, but also a spiritual feast which came to us by way of General Conference.
We loved celebrating the new life that Spring brings, all while remembering the resurrection and literal new life that is made possible through Jesus Christ.
