Remember that I learned how to letterpress? Well, this, my friends, is my first impression! Flat cards for my sister for her birthday. Aren’t they pretty?
It was sort of a circus for a little while setting the type in correctly, then positioning the paper so it registered top and center. After ironing out the details, Missy and I pulled a set of these. I found beautiful gray and yellow envelopes for them at Paper Source, one of my all time favorite stops.
The paper bag from Paper Source had these great stripes with the saying “DO SOMETHING CREATIVE EVERY DAY” So, I cut a strip off to bind around the stack of cards.
Doing something creative every day is pretty cool.
