On my way to work a couple days ago, I heard a tornado warning. “Go immediately to the inside room of your home on the lowest level. If you are outside or in a mobile home, go immediately to the nearest substantial shelter to avoid injury from flying debris…”
I’ve been hit by the flying opportunity debris of a good tornado:
Driving out to the Delaware coast to play in the waves and eat fresh crab
Designing and tailoring a custom formal pantsuit for a wonderful woman nominated for a Sammie Award (who is also paraplegic due to spinal bifida)
Planning and scheming a special surprise for my sister‘s 30th birthday
Spending a long and wonderful day in New Jersey learning to letterpress
Packing and preparing for a vacation to Hilton Head Island this week
I’ve much to catch up on. For now I am going to head to the inside of my covers and hopefully avoid any other flying project ideas that might whap me before I can catch some zzzzz’s.
See you soon. Maybe even tomorrow. If the weather’s fine:)
