…my Anthropologie 15% off Birthday card comes in the mail! I was especially impressed with this year’s presentation: Thick card stock, embossed cupcake with a candle that turns into…you’ll never guess…a necklace! Who are these people! I mean, seriously. So cute.
Okay, so maybe the necklace is a tiny bit wierd…and maybe It won’t become my absolute-must-not-leave-the-house-without piece. But it sure was creative. My cousin Rachel must have had something to do with it!!
With last year’s card I picked up a set of these beauties. Mini Latte Bowls (link is for cereal size-mini’s available in the store). I know, big spender. It wasn’t entirely my fault that the $200 watercolor dress in the clearance section that I DIED FOR (a size 2 that I actually tried on at 28 weeks pregnant -leaving the zipper gapping open…) well, didn’t exactly fit!
The mini lattes were a good choice. We might have used them every day in this last year: scoop of Haagen Daz, side of salsa, hawaiian haystack toppings, handful of candy, dollop of whipped cream, blend of baby food, baked custard…they’ve come in quite handy. Happy Birthday to me all year long! Who knows what I’ll indulge in this year. Maybe something like THIS or THIS to celebrate not being 28 weeks pregnant;)
