What would Valentines Day be without a little love-inspired food?
Sunday night, we had some friends join us for burgers, and the little boys got heart-shaped sliders. They were adorable (both the children and the food:)
In an effort to keep with our holiday aebelskiver tradition, Dave came up with a way to make them more lovey for V-Day morning: make a few aebleskiver X’s to go with all of the O’s! Genius.
Milo loves them either way.
*Not Caught on Camera* For lunch we had heart-shaped PB&J and “love milk” which Dave made by adding a squirt of red coloring to make it a lovely shade of pink.
For dinner, a little Homemade Heart Hawaiian Pizza. Over the top? Maybe. Delicious and fun? Definitely.
It was a happy day. And my incessant hunger (as well as my love of celebration) was satisfied easily…all by making good use of my heart-shaped cookie cutters!
