Mimi and Boston
May 22, 2009

Grandma #2 has made it to New Hampshire to meet Milo!
Melanie (who we decided will go by Mimi) came out last Friday to hang with the new family and help with our big move. She and Milo have become fast friends.
After a hard day of packing and moving we walked down to Granite State for homemade ice cream. Dave and I can’t get enough of this place! I think the free “jimmies” (sprinkles for you western folk) are the kicker!
We worked all day Monday and Tuesday…got about 80% of the house moved. The kitchen is always an adventure. I have no idea how I fit so much stuff in what has always been a pretty small kitchen space. All day Tuesday we motivated ourselves with a trip to Boston on Wednesday for a break. So, Wednesday we traveled the 60 miles down the I-93 to Bean Town.
Milo’s first ride on the T. We kept his car seat covered to minimize the stale air…
Chillin’ in the Public Garden. I’m learning how to nurse anywhere:)
We know that one day Milo will appreciate that we helped him ride the duckling (from Make Way for Ducklings) at 3 weeks old.
I was quite impressed by this obedient squirrel.
We wandered Newberry Street, shopped a little, visited a couple old sites and then settled down for some fantastic Indian food to celebrate Dave’s Birthday (a little late) with his mom.
Delicious.
This little guy loved the adventure. He was so good! He ate, looked around for a while, then slept…ate, looked around and slept. I think this is only the beginning of a wonderful relationship between Milo and Boston.
