Yesterday after nap time, Mister Monkey and I ventured to a nearby park to tromp around a bit. I was excited to get some photos of this little guy in his monkey suit in the daytime. Boy is he cute!
I found this amazing material buried in the shelves of faux fur at Jo Ann’s Fabric. It is suede-y on one side, and minky plush on the other. I just whipped Milo up a jump-suit and he was set to go! I slide it on with just his diaper underneath, and I think he loves feeling wrapped in a cozy blanket. I made the tail long enough to use as a leash, if we need to. Boy, does that come in handy!
He pretty much loves it. I think it’s sort of weird that he doesn’t try to take the hood off. I guess he’s pretty good at playing the part.
He was fascinated by the flock of Canadian Geese that were swimming together in the river near the park…
I was fascinated by how someone so tiny can have my whole heart in his little hands.
