Mother to Be Contest…I need your help!!
May 5, 2011
So, Jenn, from the cool, new-to-me blog A Jennuine Life, is hosting a contest.
Said contest involves entering a handmade item of clothing created for one of the three maternity stages: pregnant: the expansion stage, nursing: the quick-access stage , and postpartum: the muffin-top stage.
She asked if I might enter, and I would love to. The question is, which of the maternity clothes I’ve made this time around should be the lucky entry? Heaven knows I’m not going to be making something new this week…not with everything else happening around here:)
So, I thought I’d get some input. Which of the following is your favorite Makin’ Maternity project? You can vote (even for more than one) over on the side bar there—> —>
(Whichever it is, I’ll do a new photo to enter…with my impressive 34 week belly:)
 1. Ruched Maxi Dress
 2. Black and White (for getting huge)
 3. Ruffled Wrap Wall
 4. Knot Typical Dress
 5. Military Tunic
 6. Stolen Stripe Shirt
 7. Ruched Front Top (mistakes happen!)
8. Bridesmaid Dress Repurpose
9. Pleated Spring Skirt
Thanks ahead of time for your two-cents. The big contest begins on Mother’s Day, so the polling ends Sunday at noon.
(…and you just have to know that the fact that I have an awkward NINE, instead of a nice round TEN projects is almost enough to drive me to an all-nighter of maternity sewing… I’m going to try to resist:)
