This was a couple weeks ago (pre haircut) we went to the zoo, and all the animals were out. It was the best!
Milo sat down to eat his sandwich under the wing of this huge hawk. I thought it was hilarious. He was up again by the time I grabbed the camera…always on the go!
Anyway, let’s talk about my favorite new site: readthescriptures.com.
When my grandma, Mamo, saw that I had a goal of reading the BoM daily, she send over the link and shared that she has been using the site for almost 4 years to complete her daily reading!!
Basically, you sign up, decide how much of what you want to read, and the site sends you your daily reading in an email. Like, the whole reading! I’m doing the Book of Mormon in one year, every day, so I get about 18 verses in an email each day. After I read them, I press “complete” and then the next day, I get the next reading!
Simple as that.
Dave (the overachiever:) has signed up for daily BoM, the weekly Sunday School reading, and one conference talk per day.
I have no problem reading my emails daily, and now that I can even check them on my phone, it’s like a fool-proof method to daily reading. If you want to read the scriptures, you should check it out!
Oh, and Dave has promised me that tomorrow he’ll take a few shots of me in my new maternity apparel. I did, in fact, wear a new dress to church (and I got on a roll last week and actually ended up with four new ones to choose from!!) Tune in later for a fashion show;)
