What does a 9 month pregnant woman wear to a semi-formal law school ball? My question exactly. About 2 weeks ago I began to imagine turning some old, sale, fabric remnants into a beautiful prego woman’s dream dress. Then I encountered a fellow law wife in need of a dress. She’s not pregnant–just hankering for something new. So, I got all motivated, offered to make her a new dress and we went shopping for fabric for her. Of course, making a dress for a friend is super important-there’s a little pressure on! So I got in the groove. Luckily, the inertia continued long enough for me to finish my own ball gown, which I actually did manage with the old, sale, remnants. I only needed to invest in a new zipper and some lining fabric-love that RRR.
