So, the next time you get a call about having won a night at the Anniversary Inn (all you have to do is sit through a 2 hour sales pitch) TAKE IT! The Anniversary Inn is hilarious and fun and Dave and I thought the $19.95 that we payed in taxes was well worth the great St Patty’s day celebration that we had in “The Sultan’s Palace” Room. I mean seriously, not everyone gets to shower with a large orange dragon!
Complimentary breakfast was dropped off outside the door at the hour we requested. It was delicious. Oh, and the room comes fully stocked with cheesecake in the fridge, sparkling cider on ice and mint truffles next to the incredibly cheesy sign-out-and-tell-how-romantic-your-night-in-the-sultan’s-palace-with-your-eternal-companion-was book.
Let’s be honest, the bed on the back of two life-sized elephants? It is pretty romantic!!
