Do you ever do anything last minute? Uh…me neither. Just kidding. I feel like most days I am a few steps behind my good intentions. Luckily for everyone, adversity (even that of procrastination) breeds creativity. This little paper tray is a great last-second solution for taking treats to neighbors, setting up for a party, wrapping a gift or just creating a place to put things…enjoy!
Step 1: Gather a piece of heavy weight paper or cardstock, a pair of scissors, a hole punch and some string or ribbon
Step 2: Fold each side of the paper over about an inch for a shallow tray, more for a deeper box
Step 3: Pinch the corners of the paper, with the point out, and the sides all standing up
Step 4: Punch a little hole through both layers of paper at the corner
Step 5: Tie a small piece of string or ribbon through the hole to hold the corner together
Step 5: Repeat with each of the four corners, forming your tray as you go
Step 6: Fill with treats for friends who have been kind in lending you their Pack & Play;) or whatever you might need!
