Project Baby: 34 Weeks
May 19, 2011
I’m going to go ahead and continue posting these photos 2 weeks behind schedule(I’ll be 36 weeks on Saturday), that way when Eliot is born, I’ll have plenty of time to recover before introducing him:) It reflects the way I feel right now…a little behind, in almost everything!
New developments in pregnancy include the mask (which because of my natural freckles ends up just looking like a little tan), continual lower back pain (which is being helped somewhat by my mini-cradle support belt), post-meal heartburn (nothing zantac and tums can’t handle) and shankles (what more can I say about that?). A few days ago, about 1:00 am, I woke up to use the bathroom, yet again, and thought to myself as I waddled back to bed, “I am uncomfortable all of the time.” And, I guess I am, though sitting on the couch for long periods of time and sipping frozen beverages (like this one sans strawberry syrup…) seems to give me a temporary sense of feeling okay, if not good.
I am overwhelmed more by the completion of pre-arrival projects than the arrival itself, which is probably very silly and backwards. I do hope to get some real energy back someday after Eliot comes though…
So, almost there. And happy.
