With my sister’s wedding just behind us, and Dave’s sister’s wedding just ahead, the families have spent plenty of time flipping through Utah Bride & Groom. Last week I got an excited call from Dave’s mom and sister, Rachel, telling me that Blue Olive Design got a little print space in the last issue!
On page 30 there’s a spread about gift ideas for the wedding party. Do you recognize that little blue headband in the bottom left corner? I do…because I MADE IT!
And, I even got a mention along with that beautiful photo: 5. Blue Olive Design Company silk headband ($22) Language of Flowers, SLC. Yippee!!
Rachel is a floral designer at Language of Flowers (have you been in there? It’s darling!) and last summer (or maybe it was two??!) she was wearing one of those silk babies to work. The owner liked it and ordered a bunch from me that she sold in the gift section of the store. Pretty cool.
I’m pretty sure there aren’t any more there right now. And, I haven’t made any in a while, but cool anyway, huh? I always thought they would be cute for bridesmaids:)
