Spring Fever in DC

The sun has been shining, and people are getting out! On the last day of Aunt Rachel’s trip we headed down to the National Mall to dance with sculptures outside of the Hirshhorn Museum…
…enjoy the beginnings of the blossoms (everything blooms here!!)
…join the crowds on the lawn and pathways…
…pause at the Capitol…
…pose in the brightness after enjoying the orchid exhibit at the National Botanic Gardens…
…and take advantage of FREE Italian Ice at Rita’s…all because it is SPRING!!
It was a fantastic day to finish a fantastic visit. Thanks for coming Rachel! 
On that note, we are taking visitors all summer:) And if you act fast, you might get to join in some of the fun events happening for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I can’t wait!!
