When we were in Utah, we loved taking advantage of the chance to see some fun things as a family. When I heard about “Two-Dollar Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point” on the radio I was sold!
My cousin, who lives in Alpine, kindly declined the invitation to join us (instead she had us over for lunch after) because she has a season pass, and as she texted “no deal goes unnoticed in Utah County!”
I expected crowds…and there were a bunch of people, but it was still super fun. They have a fun collection of animals, and Milo was in heaven.
I loved the many different birds. Turkey heads look like aliens from a bad 80’s sifi flick!
Did you know that a Cornish Hen is just a variety of chicken? I never understood, until this visit, that a Hen is just the female of ANY breed of chicken, and the rooster is just the male of ANY breed of chicken. I had always thought of Cornish Hens as some rare bird. And of roosters as a single kind of male bird…
All in all we definitely got our $6.00 worth out of the morning at the farm. Should I live in Utah, I would visit again soon:)
